Why Benjamin Franklin?

Posted on December 5th, 2007 in Uncategorized by Tim

Benjamin Franklin is the quintessential self-made renaissance man. Despite coming from a modest background with little formal education, his early success at writing allowed him to pursue his other interests in science and ultimately statesmanship. Franklin was an Enlightenment thinker who believed in self-improvement.

Ben was also prolific. He published works under several pseudonyms. Whether home-spun advice as Silence Dogood or tips on how to improve one’s life as Richard Saunders, Ben understood the value of clear communications. He would have been a blogger, no doubt, if he were alive today.
