Given our theme, it seems appropriate to point out that Benjamin Franklin would have been 302 today. Our father is significantly younger, but he also shares this birthday.

We want to encourage you to get started and stay motivated by blogging about some of the most interesting stories about entrepreneurs from across the web. Our content will be less about the next Google and more about the millionaire next door. Some of our recurring topics will include:
Aspiration
Whether you want to open a beauty shop on the corner or spend six months a year on an island in the Caribbean, you must start with a clearly defined goal. Genius maybe be just 1% inspiration, but the 99% perspiration requires a focus.
Proactiveness
Having a dream is a starting point. Only concrete action will turn the best idea into reality so we want to tell you about people who stopped preparing for success and started achieving it.
Meritocracy
We believe that education is great, but it is only one of many success factors. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs have little, if any, formal education. Whether you barely passed your G.E.D. or you have a Ph.D. from Harvard, we believe that you can achieve financial independence.
Frugality
Every entrepreneur has to decide where to invest time and energy. Whether you have to bootstrap your startup or use viral marketing to get the word out, we will share stories about how people got their businesses going while spending very little money.
